Annette Kirklin

Annette is a public affairs specialist with the Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) in Vicksburg, MS. She grew up in Brandon, Mississippi but has made Vicksburg, MS her hometown for 33 years. In the past she has served as the executive director of the Vicksburg Convention Center and Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation. Annette’s in-depth knowledge and expertise expands over 22 years and includes building strong relationships with the community, marketing, graphic design, show and convention management, event planning and public relations. Her creative, team-oriented personality and dynamic outlook on life has assisted in her strong desire to succeed and lead organizations. Her professional experiences have allowed her to develop exceptional skills in thinking on her feet, organizing last minute major events, community outreach and responsible budgets that have been one of the key reasons for her successes and reaching plateaus in each position she has served.
