Mike McClanahan

Michael McClanahan has been with TDOT’s Highway Beautification Office since 2016. In his role, Michael manages the Department’s environmental outreach programs involving litter pickup and prevention education, landscaping, and scenic roadways. Previously, Michael served as City Manager for the Town of Kingston Springs, TN and the City of Clifton, TN. He holds a Master of Public Administration from George Mason University, and is a Tennessee Certified Economic Developer and Certified Municipal Finance Officer. Michael is a volunteer fireman with the Williamson County Rescue Squad and lives in a rural community near Nashville, Tennessee with his wife, Kaitlyn, and second grade daughter.
