We’re offering two convenient one-hour sessions, both covering the same material: one in the morning and one in the late afternoon on two different days, so your entire team can attend at a time that works best for you.
We’ll explore how the Mississippi River Parkway Commission (experiencemississippiriver.com) actively promotes the Great River Road’s Interpretive Centers through a robust marketing campaign and how you can tap into these efforts to drive foot traffic to your center. You’ll also gain fresh story ideas for America 250 that can captivate visitors and help your center stand out.
One of your peers will share a powerful case study on how they calculate and communicate the value of their interpretive center to the community—showing how this data can be used to solidify partnerships and demonstrate your center’s impact.
In addition to all of this, you’ll have the chance to connect with other Interpretive Centers along the 10-state Great River Road. This is a unique opportunity to share ideas, collaborate, and promote one another to create a network of support. With help from the Mississippi River Parkway Commission, we’ll work together to bring more travelers to the Great River Road, encourage them to stay longer, and keep them coming back year after year.
